Love and healing energy from the Light are the most frequent and powerful messages brought back by NDErs. Affirmation comes from evidence and corroboration of these experiences gained through both personal testimony and research of the NDE phenomena. This conference is for anyone who has ever been touched by a Near-Death or Spiritually Transformative Experience (STE), as well as researchers and others who seek affirmation and greater awareness of the experience. Many people have had this experience. You are not alone.
Healthcare-Education-Research-Science (HERS) Session (Thursday, all day): presentations by healthcare professionals, NDE educators and NDE researchers on exploring and applying our understanding of NDEs, for example, applying understanding of NDEs in psychiatry and counseling, training medical professionals and the military about NDEs, conducting research studies on the deeper aspects of NDEs and related phenomena, and developing theoretical perspectives on the non-material nature of the mind and consciousness.
General Session (Friday through Sunday noon): presentations by NDErs, clergy, social workers, researchers and others on the spiritual insights and wisdom of NDEs, near-death-like experiences and related phenomena. Workshops (priced separately) are offered in late afternoon Friday and Saturday, and all afternoon on Sunday.
Join us for both sessions!
We invite you to submit a proposal for a workshop, lecture presentation, panel session, poster presentation or art display.
Conference Objectives, based on the Conference theme:
We welcome proposals for workshops, lecture presentations, panel sessions, poster presentations and art displays that meet one or more of these objectives.
Note: presentations of individual NDE stories will be scheduled on one of the NDEr Panels. If you want to be considered for an NDEr panel, specify that in the abstract. The Objectives, Outline and Degrees sections then do not need to be filled in.
IANDS Policy: IANDS’ purpose is to promote responsible, multi-disciplinary exploration of near-death and similar experiences.
